Our Appointment Booking System Is Changing!
Our appointment booking system is changing on 4th September 2023. All patients requesting an appointment or phonecall sooner than the next available pre-bookable appointment will need to complete a very short form, regardless of whether you contact us by phone, email, or online. Where possible, we encourage patients to complete this form themselves online so that the phonelines are kept free for patients who cannot use online services. Patients who do need to phone will be asked exactly the same questions by the Patient Services Team who will complete the form on their behalf.
The new triage system allows GPs to assess each patient’s needs and allocate them an appointment or answer their query in a suitable timeframe and allows us to prioritise and ensure those who are most seriously ill are seen soonest without the need to rush to phone us at 8am.
